French rider Johann Zarco has triumphed in the MotoGP race at the Australian Grand Prix of Road Motorcycles, marking his first victory in the prestigious royal class. Italian rider Francesco Bagnaia finished second, adding more points to his overall championship tally and extending his lead to 27 points. Due to an unfavourable weather forecast, the race itself was postponed from Sunday to Saturday as decided by the organisers.
